Members of parliament from Acholi sub-region under their umbrella body, Acholi Parliamentary Group demand for an independent forensic medical investigation into the death of the Deputy Inspector General of Police Maj. Gen. Paul Lokech.
Lokech who suddenly passed on yesterday is said to have succumbed to a blood clot.
While addressing a press conference at Parliament, The chairperson of Acholi Parliamentary Group also Kilak North Mp Anthony Akol says the investigation will put to rest rumors surrounding the death of Lokech.
Akol adds that the sudden death of Lokech who has survived many military battles has sent shock waves through Pader, his home district, and the Acholi sub-region as a whole.
