Focus on Vaccination -Dr. Besigye

Former Presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye advises Government to focus on vaccinating as many Ugandans as possible instead of using the lockdown as the strategy to contain infections.

Dr. Besigye says that vaccination aganist Covid-19, should target the most vulnerable and frontline workers including health workers and teachers.

He says that once a sizable number of people are vaccinated, the infections will reduce and the few managed by health facilities which must also be well equipped.

Dr. Besigye says that relying on lockdowns brings about many challenges that the Government has already proved to have failed to address.

This as he addressed Journalists at his offices on Katonga road.
