Anglicans Urged To Embrace Kido Project

Following the launch of the KIDO project by the archbishop of the church of Uganda, now Anglicans are seriously being urged to register and take up membership in the project aimed at transforming their economic, health and education wellbeing.

Speaking at a press conference today where the church announced a digital partnership with NEPSERV, the chairman of the project Dr. Ben Mbonye says those interested can register at a fee of UGX.50,000 as membership online and through their respective parishes or dioceses and then deposit a minimum of UGX.150,000 annually in the bank to help run the project.

Dr. Mbonye further notes that members will be privileged to get loans, health insurance, and education financial support as a way of lifting their wellbeing.

However, officials from NEPSERV consultants say, the digital services they’re providing are aimed at making it easy for interested persons to register via VANTAGE App and website as well as receive notifications of their deposits.

The project targets over UGX.40 billion annually with the interest going to support Anglican based schools and health facilities and members.
