The Uganda Revenue Authority has called for mass sensitization of farmers and dealers in Agricultural produce to mitigate the crisis of mycotoxins which has reduced demand for Uganda’s grain exports on the foreign market. Lawmakers on parliament’s HIV/AIDS committee have lashed out at officials of national drug authority (NDA) for concealing from the public that farmers have been using ARVs for fattening and treating animals for ten years, saying the concealment could explain the increase cases of liver diseases in Uganda.
