Jude Color Solutions has donated items worth 14 million shillings in support to the national task force response to covid-19 in Uganda.

The items include 400 medical masks, 300 medical head covers, 100 spray bottles, 100 melamine mugs, 100 note books, 100 pens, 5 medical kit bags for doctors and 100 T-shirts.

While handing over the items at the ministry of health headquarters in Kampala on Tuesday Henry Zzimbe the head of sales and marketing at Jude Color Solutions urged Ugandans to obey presidential directives to be able to kick out Covid-19 out of the country.

The Minister of Health Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng while receiving the donation on behalf of the taskforce thanked Jude Color Solutions for thinking about health workers who are at the Front line in the fight against Covid-19.

The donation is in response to president  Yoweri Museveni’s call on all Ugandans and well wishers to join government in the fight against this pandemic by contributing any thing they can afford in form of cash or items to the taskforce.

Uganda currently has 79 confirmed cases of Covid-19 with 52 recoveries and Zero deaths.
