RESET America, RESET Africa Conference is Back

RESET America, RESET Africa Conference is Back.

After two years of Covid-19 induced travel disruptions, finally, the Global Impact Leadership Alliance (GILA) is set to resume the RESET America, RESET Africa Conference in St Louis MO, USA.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of the organization Dr. Larita Rice Barnes, the annual global conference which normally takes place in April has been pushed to November. For the past five years in Uganda, a delegation of Members of Parliament and staff, led by the former late speaker of parliament, the Rt. Hon Jacob L’Okori Oulanya was participating in the conference.

The conference has been graced by Retired Illinois State Majority Leader Senator, James Clayborne St. Louis Chief of Public Safety, Judge Jimmie Edwards, Ambassador Dr. Lenora Peterson-Maclin Ambassador to former President Barack Obama, and many more. The deputy speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa will lead this year’s delegation of MPs from Uganda that will include Busia Municipality MP Geoffrey Macho among others. Different topics are expected to dominate the 8 days event including; Social Determinants of Health, International Business Exchange Day, and strategy for building powerful movements in the Pearl of Africa and abroad. Dr. Larita Rice Barnes says the event will include an award ceremony honoring trailblazers who are making a mark globally.

The former speaker of Parliament of Uganda; the late Rt. Honorable Jacob Oulanya is among those to be honored with a special tribute. RESET America RESET Africa is an annual conference that takes place in the USA, each year that continues to be a historical moment for those who attend. The conference fosters relationships and creates a dialogue with key policymakers, heads of state, and civic leaders from across the globe to supplement issues of education, leadership development, health, and spiritual matters. GILA is touching four continents North America, and Africa. Asia and Europe.
