Prof. Ogwang Issued investment License

Prof. Ogwang Issued investment License.

The Uganda Investment Authority has issued an investment License to Prof. Patrick Ogwang to construct a drug Manufacturing plant to continue manufacturing COVIDEX among other drugs.

The state minister for Investment and privatization Evelyn Anite says the government has provided him with 10 acres of land at Soroti industrial park where he will contruct the plant.

She says the government has also given him a 10 year tax holiday to enable him to develop his business.

Noting that this is one of the ways in which government will contiune providing support to local investors to support the country’s economy.

Prof. Patrick Ogwang the director of Jena Herbals Ltd which currently manufactures COVIDEX say the drug is curing COVID patients with mild conditions to 100%.

And confirms that very soon the covidex will be hitting the global market after passing all the required global clinical trials.

At the same event, the minister has used the platform to urge those who have sued Ogwang to stop wasting ogwang’s time.

Ogwang says, he has mobilized some resources, and very soon the construction will kick-off.

The mini factory currently employes about 200 people with plans to employee over 1000 workers directly.

Prof. Ogwang says at the moment he will be investing about 5 billion shillings.
